AndroidFileSync is a free, open-source tool. By using it, you agree to these terms. They are straightforward and written in plain language.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AndroidFileSync ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. License

AndroidFileSync is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0). You are free to:

Use the app for personal or commercial purposes at no cost
View, copy, and modify the source code
Distribute copies of the app or your modified versions

However, any modified or derivative version you distribute must also be released under GPL-3.0 and must include the complete corresponding source code. You may not distribute this software under a more restrictive or proprietary license.

3. What You Are Responsible For

You are solely responsible for:

The files you transfer, delete, or modify on your Android device
Any apps you install, uninstall, or disable using the App Manager
Ensuring you have permission to access the Android device you connect to
Any data loss resulting from use of the app, including permanent deletion of files

Please use features like "Delete Permanently" and "Clear Data" with care. Actions that are labelled as irreversible cannot be undone.

4. No Warranty

AndroidFileSync is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The developer makes no guarantees about:

Fitness for a particular purpose
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Compatibility with every Android device or macOS version
The safety of any ADB operations performed on your device

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to data loss, device issues, or lost business.

6. Third-Party Tools

AndroidFileSync bundles ADB (Android Debug Bridge), which is developed by Google and distributed under the Apache 2.0 License. Use of ADB is subject to Google's terms.

7. Updates and Changes

The developer may update the app and these terms at any time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Updates to these terms will be reflected with a new effective date on this page.

8. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. There are no accounts, subscriptions, or ongoing obligations.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
